Almost three months vacation in the Philippines… my friends predicted that Caity will come back talking in our dialect. They’re wrong. (Well, who knows it might change. Vacation isn’t over yet!) We talk to her in English at home, so there’s no chance for her to learn the dialect. But today, we noticed that our little chatterbox picked up the Ilonggo’s sing-like intonation.
Before when she says no, it was a short and big NO! Now, its a long, up and down, winding road, errr no. Like this nooOOOOoooOOOooo. Can you imagine it? It sounds funny. English with Ilonggo intonation.
Baba-an nga bata! She easily picks up words and uses it. My sister has been telling me to speak to her in our dialect too. Will she be able to learn it fast?
Her enthusiasm in all things is amusing! She’d go “WOW!!!” even on the simplest things. She’d call on you “Mama, Mama! Look! Look!” “Titaaaa, seeee?” and if you don’t pay attention to her, she won’t stop calling your name or she’d even pull you to show what amazing discoveries she found.
Three layers of clothing and a cap inside the house!!! Is Caity feeling cold? She’s not! I was arranging her clothes in the room when she came in and asked me to put her two coats on her. Then she also wanted to wear the cap, as if her outfit won’t be complete without it.
Nice coordination of colors Caity girl!
*FUCHSIA, that’s how it’s spelled correctly. Don’t be confused, okay?

Thank you for making us ha-ha-ha-ppy with your infectious laughter and funny antics! We’re so thankful to God for having you in our lives. Have a ha-ha-ha-ppy birthday!!! We love you!
We were uploading Caity’s acrobatic stunt video and she can’t help laughing while watching it.
What video is it anyway?
That’s the one below.
It was already her bedtime but she’s still full of energy!
Caity’s dad bought a new computer chair for himself last weekend but he complained that somebody else is enjoying it. Who is it??? Well, the chair is big and comfy so it’s no wonder that Caity girl likes to sit there while watching her favorite videos from her dad’s PC. Yeahhh, poor daddy gets to use his PC and chair only when Caity is asleep. hehehe…
How can you kick such a sweet little angel out from her self-claimed throne?
What’s behind the smile? Caity came inside the room with the Hello Kitty cap on her head, the doll dangling in her hand, then she climbed into the chair and asked for Barney. Yehey! She can already say Barney the proper way. Anyway, as I was turning on the PC, she gave me her happy smile. =) She’s not over him yet!
Here is another video of that Sunday afternoon with Caity trying to climb a sloping terrain of about 45 degrees in angle (or maybe more). Oh my! This girl is really fearless!!! I had a difficult time keeping up with her in the slope coz my other hand was holding the cam. Grabe ning bataa ni! Guess what? Her first “mountain climbing expedition” was a success!
This happened one Sunday afternoon in a quiet neighborhood in Prague 4 while Caity’s dad, mom and grandma were having a late lunch in a nearby pizzeria…
More videos and pics coming up of that particular day. =)
She was watching Dora The Explorer and when it ended, she spread out her hands and exclaimed, “no more!” That’s what she does every time she says no more. =)
But just look where she’s standing on. That’s a package! A package for me and Caity used it as a mini trampoline. Yay!
